Among the unique and luxurious hand assembling Ferrari, which often idle in garages of royal persons, there is always the one that is given to the photographers and automobile bloggers hands. On the occasion, the car was taken by the Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner, who after some test cars made perhaps the most unique photo session. It’s necessary to say, that this young Swiss artist is the owner of the poetic approach to photography. Mixing art, science and technology, he creates the unprecedented images and makes the “next step”. The world in which he lives inspires and guides Fabian. He closely observes the developments in various fields of science. He strives to reflect processes and phenomena, sometimes invisible to the human eye in his works.
Armed with luminous ultraviolet paint in the dark and the latest model Ferrari California T, Oefner attacked the car with the jet of ultraviolet stunning colors. The action took place in the Ferrari wind tunnel in Maranello. The whole team was waiting until the speed reaches 250 km/h, before giving the opportunity for paint to freely penetrate the whole body of the supercar and make the car even more colorful than its factory version.
Oefner says that he has used about 30 liters of red, yellow and blue UV paints, on which, in addition, in order to create the desired effect the ultraviolet rays of light were directed. To achieve this result, the inventive photographer used the system of drip watering, hoses and garden pomps. It turned out that to make a good shot the whole team had to wash the supercar from freshly applied paint. However, the result was worth it. Now it’s possible to admire the excellent pictures that can be safely attributed to the high art of innovation.
