How to change surroundings with simple plain cutouts?

A paper artist “Paperboyo” (Rich McCor) who is also a photographer transforms the surrounding reality with simple paper cutouts. He definitely looks at the world around with a different perspective transforming famous sights of cities. Rich McCor just adds plain paper cutouts to the foreground scenes in front of the famous landmarks changing them in something completely different and creating new places of attraction. In such a way, we can see how an octopus is trying to get away from the Colosseum or how a Banksy’s housemaid is sweeping the dust under the huge building.

The photograph creates allusions to popular movie scenes or to other masterpieces of famous artists. McCor is great in playing with pop culture symbols and changing the landmarks around in something unusual and unique giving us his perspective of the things. Just have a look how simple these works are and how exquisite they look. All we can think of looking at the photos is that it looks as if it has been our own idea, but Rich McCor aka “Paperboyo” did it earlier and better.
